Schmolzer & Brown

This month we have the incredible Vignerons Schmolzer & Brown coming down from Beechworth to pour and chat about all the things that make them special!

Tessa and Jeremy have spent years dedicated to their craft, slowly building a life in Victoria’s alpine region. They farm on organic principals and live a solar powered, off grid life with their daughters. We love their wines for their depth and purity and can’t wait to taste through them all once again.

And what about the food you say? We are riffing on some joint Austrian heritage (Jeremy and Flo) and bringing you one of the Kaiser’s favourite things - ‘Tafelspitz’.

We visited the legendary Plachutta Restraurant in Vienna when we were visiting a few years ago, to eat the gently poached beef and marrow in rich broth, with all of the seasonal sides.

This is going to be a total one of a kind lunch, possibly never seen before in Melbourne!
